Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
its been 7 years my case is still hangin there, my atorney didnt want to do a lot becouse a the time of my injury the company didnt have workers comp, and we went to apply to the unisured employee benefits trust fund, got injured in 2003 still havent see or have medical attention, what are my posibilities to settle this case down

If your employer had no insurance at the time of injury and your injury is a specific claim then UEF which is the department you mentioned in the question will in a way "represent" the employer to "expedite" the case in chief. The problem is that with the "financial CA crisis" UEF has been very low on funds. That is the reason why most UEF cases (like yours) are taking an "eternity" to settle. However that does not mean that everything else pending on the case in chief should be in a "frozen stage".
