Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

16 years records

I slipped at work ,(supermarket) torn

MCL , work comp denied. The manager

said I did it at home. Got attorney, hard

to reach. Now EMPLOYERS attorney

wants 16 years medical history,bank

statements, any medication in the last

16 years, drivers lic, and soc .sec. Any

psychiatrist visits in the last 16 years. I

was out 6 weeks on disability, but I'm

back now. Ive been with the co. for 30

years,a model employee, a dept. head

for 25 years never an accident till now. I

retire in 3 years. Is this worth

pursueing. It seems they are intent on

making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Do I really have to furnish all of these

items? It all seems pretty intrusive to

me.

Re: 16 years records

For the purposes of apportionment, they may have the right to request medical records pursuant to the new laws. However, it seems that the other requests, bank statements, etc. are absurd, irrelevant and harassing.

Re: 16 years records

First of all GET A NEW ATTORNEY. If you cant even reach your attorney then that is ridiculous. Those things they asked for are a bit irrelevant to the case. Our law office would be more than happy to take over this case and WIN. You have a great case. Yes you should pursue this matter. Please feel free to contact our law office if you would like quality representation. 760.243.5121.

Thanks and God Bless.
