Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Hi i was asultef by an indivifual that walk inn to the kitchen of the restaurant where j work a wrk for a popular fast food chain the individual was intoxicated i did go the hospital but nothing serious just pain hit my neck whenbhe strike i fell back an hit my self the company did nothin just. Give a claim only 2/3 of my loss time was paid the company did not press charges againts the individual are my entitle to a compasation what should i do?
