Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I currently have no attorney and have been dealing with with State Comp Ins. Fund on my case since 4/07. I have received my final C&R documents which i need to sign and send back to settle my case. I am fine with the amount and terms of settlement. I just have never seen an example of what the C&R should look like and have a few questions before I sign it and send it back. Such as I cannot find wording in there that states If any bills appear after I have already signed the C&R even if they were for services before the signature that State Comp will be liable not me. And a few other questions. I guess is what i am looking for is someone familiar with the form and that would be willing to review it if i uploaded it to them and let me know if it all looks normal. I have asked another local attorney that i was referred to and he said he could not do it without representing me which seemed kind of strange. I just want someone who can reveiw this doc and answer a few general questions for me. Is there anyone available to do this please let me know. I could actually upload and send you the document online and we would not even have to meet in person if that is more convenient. Thank you for your help.

About thirty years ago I was one of many attorneys who worked for State Fund. Send me the form and your questions and I will, at no charge get back to your later.
