Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

My attorney wants to settle for 35'k on my workers comp case however I need surgery I have a tear in my back and it is noted on the ame report and 12percent disabled. I am only 40 and small children and the pain is severe. I feel like a sell out and won't be healed like before the accident. What are my options

You could tell your attorney what your concerns are, and refuse to settle the case until you get a better offer. If you end up not settling you will have a trial and your award if any will be determined at that time.
