Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

When going back to work after being off on workers comp, can my employer pay me less or give me less hours than I had before my injury if I can perform my job at the same intensity as before?

Sorry for the very late response. An employer is not allowed to discriminate against an employee for suffering a work related injury, so if you can return to your former work and the job still exists, you should be allowed to. If the employer did not allowed you to, try to get the WC carrier to support your position. You could also complain to the labor Commissioner if your employer will not pay you the wages you lost, but it sounds as though the employer will probably try to fire you if you try.
