Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

a casino on an indian reservation

I know people who are working at

the San Ysabel Casino in California an

it is located on an indian reservation,

they rarely are aloud to take a break,

they work 9-11 hour shifts with out

a break. My question is, is that

aloud? isn't that illegal to be denied

a break even on an indian

reservation?

Re: a casino on an indian reservation

Even though workers' who work in Casino's fall under a different set of workers' compnesation laws, the wage and hour laws may also be different than regular employees. This is not really a workers' compensation question more than a "wage and hour" law. I suspect that this may be true throughout most of the casinos. I will do a little more research and get back to you.

In the meantime, this could be a large class action law suit. Please contact me directly at my email addres so we can explore the possibility of a "class action" law suit.
