Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I caught the flu from work,and as a result was at partial physical capability.And had heart flutters due to physical stress.The comp dr. said it was not job related..Whats that about?

What he is probably saying is that there is no medical proof you caught it at work as opposed to off work contact [if it were assumed to be work related, most of the work force would be off during part of the year with the flu or colds] and that it would cause any type of heart problems [irregular beats are not from relatively minor diseases such as the flu].
