old claim vs new claim???
i filed a new workers comp claim on the carpal tunnel in both hands. i had surgery on both hands in 1999. I work for the same company but they have a different WC IC now. Anyway the current IC has passed the case to the old IC.
y question is that I do not remember what the final outcome was on the old case.Is there any way of obtaining records on the 1999 claim?
I have not been contacted by the old WC IC and I do not remember any follow-up being done on the old case after I returned to work.

You can request to review your file at the WCAB where the application was filed.
Alternatively, you can write the insurance company and request a copy. However, given the date of injury, you may not be able to obtain a copy from either source.
