Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

confused

my lawyer keeps telling me that he/she cannot do anything for me until the final report, during this time I was put on disabilty and now getting less than a 1/4 of my wages my quetion is how long does it take to settle a case after the final report?

I think you have confused us. Are you talking about a Workers' Compensation case or what? What is a "final report"? You need to tell us much more.
