Cost? FREE. go to www.dir.ca.gov . That's the Division of Industrial Relations site for the state. Select "workers Compensation" in that line of choices beneath the page header. When the DWC Homepage (Workers Comp Division page) loads, "Quick Links" will be on the right: Third choice down is "Search for a Workers Comp Case", Click that. In 'general information' the words 'search function' are highlghted, click on 'search function'. This should get you to Workers Compensation Court Public Information Search. Enter YOUR information as the Requestor. The reason for this request is Case Participant Information. When entered, you are sent to the CASE SEARCH CRITERIA page: put in that injured worker's details (first name, last name, city, zip, date of birth). If you do not have the all those details, enter what you have and try the search. IF this worker has an ongoing claim, it will show in the results. If you have no details other than a name, this does not work.
