Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Can I counter offer? I have no attorney

I have a claim with State Fund, they QMI was ridiculous. Three doctors total and the one who says I need no more treatment? The QMI doctor, I don't agree with the financial settlement they want to offer. Can I counter offer? Is there a percentage or some other way to figure this out. They are offering 6000.00 taking away all my payments which leaves me with 660.00 and no future medical. I want 10,000.00

Why should you not be able to counter offer. Ma Fund is just a insurance company with a different set up then private carriers.

The rating and thus value of the case is based upon the medical reports as to the reduction in your work capacity. They will only offer you what they think is the best rating you can get and a few hundred for future medical treatment [do not settle the medical treatment].

I might be able to give you a little more free advise if you want to cal me.
