Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

C&r settlement

If my settlement c&r papers and voc. Rehabilitation paper were both signed on the same day but the only papers submittted to the court were vocational rehabilitation and the only papers ok'd by the judge was my voc. Rehab and that part of my case is now closed. Does that mean i should be getting a seperate check? A side from the c&r? And how come it closed before the insurance signed the c&r settlement agreement? Does anyone know if they are submitted separatly does that mean that my voc. Rehab. Is not included in my compermise and release settlement? Please help. Thank you

Re: C&r settlement

Voc Rehab requires a separate approval by the rehab unit. Therefore, it may have been signed before the C&R. However, most of these types of settlement wrap VR into the compromise and release, thus you will be getting only one check. Ask your attorney.
