Dissatisfaction with work injury treatment

If your employer provided treatment and you are unhappy with the treatment you're receiving, you can do two things. First, tell your Workers' compensation insurance claims representative why you are unhappy. He or she may want to talk with physician to try to solve the problem.

Second, after 30 days from the date your injury is reported to your employer, you may go to a physician of your own choosing. We'll continue to pay the approved medical bills and reasonable transportation costs, so be sure to tell your claims representative the name and address of your new physician.
