Employee assaulted in a parking lot of a shopping center

I have a fast food restaurant in a food court. My employee who was on his break, slept in his car parked in the shopping center parking lot where the food court is, he was assaulted by a stranger. Can he claim Workers comp benefit?

Yes he could, but the issue is whether or not it is a valid claim. I suggest that you turn this matter over to your comp. insurance company and let them handle the claim.
