Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Employers Rights Re: Workers comp Audit

Does the State Fund have the right to demand that I provide for them copies of my profit & Loss statement, Schedule C tax document and contract for each job performed for their routine yearly audit?

I do not know the answer to your narrow question, but State Fund operates as a semi-state agency and should have no powers greater than any private insurance company. You need t look at your insurance policy to see what you agree to let them do. Off hand, I do not see how the information they are asking for has anything to do with industrial injuries. Ask them why they want that information and on what basis they can demand it.

SCIF probably has the right to review your tax return, but I do not belive the request for specific contract information is something you need to produce.

You should probably obtain representation or contact the I&A office due to the complex nature of your case with respect to calculating TTD benefits.
