Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

What can I expect to happen after I drop my attorney?

If I drop my attorney....

A. Will my empolyer and their insurer be ''required'' to drop their attorney?

B. If they decide to keep their representation actively involved, will I be able to once again speak directly with them regarding my case and medical needs or will I be ''required'' to have contact only with their atty?

C. How will my attorney be compensated for the time he has put into my case up to now?

D. When I file a request to drop my atty. with the appeals division, can I also request a later date for my appeals board trial at the same time?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Nothing good. Your lawyer has a lien on your case for his earned fees. The insurance company have their lawyers ready to do everything they can to low ball your case. You have not a prayer at trial.
