Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I fell backward at work, hit my head on concrete floor, had concussion, injured shoulder, neck , back, leg & knee. Employer says I can't file WC claim because she has to meet a 'Deductible' first. What does that mean and how do I get help for paying DR bills and treatment? Is she required to pay my lost wages and DR bills at this time? She does not have any WC info posted in office so I don't know who to contact.

Is it a all company that you are working for? It sounds like they do not have workers compensation insurance, you provably need to retain a lawyer.
