Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I fill I am being harassed at work because I support our union. I have worked at my job for over a year now and I am an active member in our union but I am currently being harassed because I do not have a drivers license. the company new when they hired me that I did not have my license and I have tried to explain to them that I have a hard time driving because it scares me. I got a verbal written warning saying that I and two weeks to get my license or other action world be taken. the call me almost every week scenes then saying they need an e-mail update while I am at work and they are in there office. also I have been in meeting with or management team and the union when I brought up an issues they would laugh or snicker even came to the point that I talked about PTO requests and the student life manager looks at her supervises and says 72hrs 72hrs 72 hrs there is your training are you happy? I love working with my students but it has come to a point where I cry ever day before leaving for work because I don't know what will be said to me or if I will be fired because of this. i have not been able to find a job that would pay me as much. it to the point of I want to quit but I don't know if I can get unemployment or if i would find another job fast enough. I have everything written down that was ever said to me. thank you for your time. Peggy

I am not sure what your question is. However, it is clear that you should talk to an employment discrimination attorney as soon as possible. You can locate one through your local county bar association.
If you are suffering from stress at work to the point where a physician takes you off work, you may have a compensable workers' compensation claim. You can locate a workers' compensation attorney in your area by going to www.caaa.org.
