Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
My friend was placed on medical leave for high blood pressure due to stress incured on the job on Oct 12, 2009. IShe was notified by email on Oct 18, that she was being laid off as of the 17th of October 2009. The workmans compensation law reads that employers cannot release workers during a workers compensation claim. Is this legal?
