Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

How often should you hear from workers comp. atty.?

I have a stress case that has been denied. Both the work comp. Dr.'s said it was workers comp, then after my deposition it was turned down. There has been relatiation since requesting workers comp. benefits. Do I let the workers comp. atty know or do I seek an employment lawyer? Each time I call the work comp atty.'s office I never hear back, I feel like I am out here on my own? Is it possibly because it is on contig. basis?

To answer your first question, of course you tell your attorney about your the retaliation. However, if you cannot get a hold of your attorney to discuss the retaliation, then look for another attorney.

Good luck.
