Liberty Mutual would still have to handle the case as they were the insurance carrier when your injury occurred. Contact them to find out what is happening. Any time someone gets surgery, even if they make a complete recovery, they should get some degree of permanent disability. There is a 10% penalty for unreasonable delay in paying benefits. If you get no response from them, some of the Boards have people assigned to answer WC questions. If nothing works, you need to get a local attorney who has experience in handling WC cases. Carriers rarely totally ignore claimants; is there something unusal about your case?
