Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I got hurt at work and missed two months of work. Should I retain a lawyer to sue to get back my lost wafes

Yes. Your employer or its worker's compensation carrier has to pay you temporary disability benefits for lost wages. But you need to show that you were under a doctor care and you could not work due to the work-related injuries. Worker's Compensation area of law is a highly specialized area of law and claim adjusters often take advantage of injured workers when they are not represented by an attorney. You may need additional time off from your job due to your injuries in the future and you will find it very difficult getting compensated for that as well. You will be entitled to a settlement for permanent disability and cost of future medical treatment. Feel free to call me at 213-388-7070 for a free consultation.
