Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Husband hurt

When should we get an attorney? EDD had disallowed him. stating that Workers comp owes him, and workers comp has not sent anything.

You have provided too little information. Have you spoken to teh employer, did he file a Frist Report of Work Injury with his W.C. insujrance carrier, why have they not responded when Labor Code establishes time limits they have to respond, etc.

EDD will often pay until WC starts paying so re-contact them to find out their reasoning. If employer likely to deny injury, get an attorney now. They charge about 10% of permanent disabity.
