Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
My husband is being treated for a torn rotator in his shoulder. He's had 2 surgeries and they want to do a 3rd. It's been almost 2 years. What happens to his WC payments after 2 years if he's still being treated? Is there such a thing as an extension for payment until the case is settled? He also has frozen shoulder and has no range of motion. WC doc says he'll eventually need complete replacement but he's "too young" right now. Ha. he's 50! Thank you for your time.

In some instances, the 2 year temporary disability payments can be extended but very likely your husband after 2 years, can only receive advances. These advances will be deducted from the future settlement. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free onsultation.
Like Mr. Moheban said, your husband's T.D. may be extended, but under very limited circumstances.
It sounds like your husband has a very serious injury and I do not feel that this is something to toy with. I will be glad to give you a free consultation if you contact me at 1.877.505.INJURY.
