Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Incarcerated

A family member who has an active WC claim turned self in on a felony warrant recently. and is being sentenced to serve prison time. The condition is stable, but still needs additional treatment and the AME is not yet complete. Will this void the case or can it be suspended? I am interested in finding someone in San Diego county to handle this case. Thank you.
