I was injured in an auto accident 10 minutes after leaving work parking lot on city street, am I covered by Workers Compensation. California

Unless you are required to use your vehicle for business purposes, you had already left your employer's premises and were on a normal commute home, so it would not be considered a work related injury. If you were walking from your office to the parking lot it might be work related but in what way was there any benefit to your employer that you were driving your vehicle home?
