The employers frequently attempt to justify injured worker's termination as a buisiness necessity or as a planned lay off prior to your date of injuries. This assertion doesnot decrease the value in your worker's compensation case. In fact, you may file a petition for penalty under labor code 132 (a) in conjunction with your worker's compensation case. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
