Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Injured at my job

I work as a valet parking for a company that pays me cash (although I have signed and filled out all paperwork with them) and I have been working for about three weeks now. On April 6th I twisted my ankle going up in a fly of stairs where is located the parking lot while working. My question is: What will happen if they denied of siging and filling out the form back to me so I can start the process of my works comp benefits?

Re: Injured at my job

There are several ways to prove your employement. For example by witnesses, co-workers and etc.. However, your claim may get denied for other reasons such as not timely reporting your injuries, post-termination, etc.. I highly recommend that you retain an experienced worker's compensation attorney to walk you through the process. All attorney fees are on contingency basis. call us at 213.388.7070 to discuss your case.
