Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I was injured on the job.I recived Tdd payment for two months until it was stopped when my dr released me for full duty.I have since learned that I need surgery.My question is since my payments were stopped before they should have been,does the insurance company owe me for the missed payments I apparently should have recieved?
