No your temporary disability benefits will be based on loss wages on the job you had the injury. However you are entitled to a settlement for permanent disability caused by your employer. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

yes, you will use both jobs to calculate your total temporary disability benefit. However, you cannot be paid a higher wage than at the job where you were injured. For example, if you work a job 10 hours at $15 per hour and a second job 18 hours at $17 per hour, but are injured at the $15 per hour job, you can only claim $15 per hour for 18 hours on the second job when calculating TTD or state disability.

Without mentioning names, one of the above attorneys are incorrect. You are entitled to receive temporary disability based upon the wages from both jobs. If you would like representation, please call my office at 1.877.505.INJURY for a free consultation.
