Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Can me and kids get compensation

My wife was hurt at work and won her lawsuit..can me and the kids get compensation for are pain,,that we had to help through her lost of a finger..it been two year...kids were very up set over it,, i do not want it to mess up her on going medical with her plant..someone had told me to ask , because we have all had to got throught it.. thank you

if your case was heard in the workers compensation courts you cannot get any recovery for pain and suffering. that is a civil remedy only available in the superior courts.

workers compensation is to compensate your wife for her lost of ability to compete in the labor market, nothing more.
