Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Labor Code 4850 & Stress Leave

My husband works for a law enforcement agency. He is subject to lots of stress in the workplace from co-workers due to his ''whistle blowing'' testimony to a grand jury. He relies on his co-workers for safety & protection, but this is almost non-existent because of his testimony. What can he do?

He can file a Worker's Compensation claim and if the treating doctor recommends restrctions or return to modified work environment, then the employer may place him in a suitable environment. Call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

He probably should file a workmans comp claim based on what you have described in your question. Feel free to contact my office and we can discuss his alternatives.
