Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

am i liable for using my vacation time for my doctor visits

i injured my back in beg of jan. and the healing process is taking alot longer than expected. during that time i visit a chiropractor 3 days a week, and the original doctor every tues. the original doctor sent me to the chiropractor for treatment. my company informed me that every visit to a doctor during work is to be covered by my vacation time, and also have to use my personal vehicle(chiro is 45 min drive 1 way). its been two months+ and am now in the negative for vacation, and gas is killing me. is all this legal? i see it like...i got hurt at work and i am paying out of pocket for pretty much every thing. thanks for listening

You should have received a partial disability payments to cover your time or your employer should have paid your salary without deducting any vacation or sick leave. For gas, send them your mileage and demand reimburement based on almost 50 cents per mile. If you need representation, call us at 213.388.7070.
