Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I have a life time medical settlement that came into effect in 1980...Since than I have had 6 knee surgeries paid for by this settlement. I have now reinjured my knee and seeking care for it, but the workmen's Comp worker is telling me that it may not be possible due to the way the company handles W/C cases at this time. Is it possible for this company to change my medical settlement without another arbartration hearing?

No. Once a settlement is reached the terms are frozen. You need to get a detailed letter from the claim's adjuster stating why they will not honor the prior agreement.
