Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I live in California, my personal doctor refuses to treat my hand saying that it is work related. My job doesn't believe that it is work related. My doctor believes that what is wrong with my hand is due to the repetition type work that I do. Is there anything that I can do? My employer doesn't think that what I do repetitious.

Your Dr. has the right to decide what treatment to give to you. Ask him why he will not treat it? It is probably because of the red tape and lower fees involved in a WC case. File a claim with your employer for repetative trauma and they will have to decide if it is work related; get your Dr. to prepare a report that it is.
