Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Hello, I live in california and am currently on worker's compensation which I along with family/friends was recently videotaped.

1. Is it legal for family/friends to be video taped?

2. Is it legal for them to miss identify a friend of mine for me both in the video and report several times?

3. Is it legal for them to video on private property?

If the camera person was not on private property and if your friends were out in the open so that they had no expectation of privacy, it is perfectly legal to tape them. Mis-identifying you is a matter of negligence and not criminal law; illegal means breaking a criminal law, negligence is a civil wrong for which you might successfully sue for damages. If they were on private property them may be liable for trespass [civil and criminal wrong] but that would not jhave any effect upon the admissabiilty of the video.
