Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I live in Northern California and was injured on the job in 2003. I do have the Uninsured employers fund involved but at the same time My employeer is trying to say that I was not injured on the job. All (there has been lots) doctors for both sides say the same thing pretty much. But not one has said that my injury was not related to my fall. I have had surgerys and rehabilitation to return to a diff. type of employment. Question is how in the world can they even say and get a court date to say that I did not get hurt on the job? I have never been to court, got work comp, or been in any kind of trouble at all and going to court is making me feel very stressed out because I know I DID get hurt on the job and it has ruined my life.....

You must retain an attorney at once if you don't have one. Employers typically deny your injury becuase they don't want to be responsible.
