Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I live in SC and have an on going case in LA from 1992 , I had a trail in 92 which I won then was reopend a year later I had never really gotten any better. During my case my Atty at the some how got the court to pay him from my temporary diabilty checks until his death in 2004 . I had tried so many times to get him to settle the case but each time he went to court the judge would find that I was still not Pand S . I begged him to settle somehow , he was having financial problems and he was ill and would not settle , I got stuck. When I called the court to try to speak to them they would not, they said as long as I had an Atty they could not. After his death , the new Atty did not seam to really want to help. I did everything asked of me by the ins.company going to all the 2nd app. Doctors they set up ect. But she would tell me that the ins. Company was more powerful then I was and could do what ever they wanted , which included setting up work evl test twice and canceling them without telling me. When I got angry she called me a problem, she refused to call my doctors out here to give them CA guide lines for making medical reports, and when she requested a report from one of my doctors and they charged her she sent them a nasty letter and told them to bill me, they did, I payed. She also refused to get medical records from a doctors that had been treating me from the pain for two year before I had let the company. The case is a sexual harassment stress case, he then molested my son who was brought to my office. I have not been able to heal sense my son and I are both a mess, my son tried to kill himself twice ended up on drugs and in trouble, I had asked the first Atty to please get us both help, but that did not happen. The insurance company is now holding me hostage, and I just want out I don't care how just out, I can t even get a supplement ins. Because I have lifetime medical they will not let me use. My Atty quite. I need help so bad. Do they really have that much power that they don't have to do anything and can just straggle me, do the judges disci. Mean zip. Once a costconanment doctor say what he says. The doctor I was sent to did not even talk to me and his oppinion caused them to go back and make me p&s to 2004 it made no sence , I ask to see a different doctor but my Atty once again said I was a problem. Can anyone help me please, please.

You need to see if you can find another attorney to represent you; I suspect it will be difficult since part of the attorney's fees have already been paid and you have a complex case. Your son might have a civil suit for the sexual assault. You need an attorney in your area of residence. The insurance companies are not that powerful.
