Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
How long do I have to wait for a specialist? My doctor referred me to see one but my workers comp has not done anything and now I have no pain management and have to continue to wait until they notify me. Legally how long can they make me wait for this new doctor?

The request for a specialist must be processed by the insurance company's U.R. department. This process should not take any longer than a couple of weeks.
