Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Loss of nerves at tip of my third finger

About 18 months ago I had a accident at my work. I work as a bartender and a glass I was washing slipped through my hand and cut my third finger and cut it deeply about 1'' below the tip. A follow up at a finger specialist this last week concluded severe nerve damage (ie no nerve sensation) and no solution to regaining it back. Everything was filed as a Worker's Compensation case. Should I persue any conpensation through a Personal Injury attorney?

Did you receiove a settlement from the worker's compensation carrier for your permanent disability? Since you are covered under labor codes, you can't file a civil suit against your employer. If you need representation about your Worker's Compensation, call us at 213.388.7070.
