Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
i was just made a offer from workers comp but it does not cover future medical if i take it the lawyer said if i don't take it i will get less and that workers comp does not pay to be retrained plus after the injury i was never given my job back nor was i formally fired

The WC carrier will offer you some additional money to settle the medical issues, but as a former WC defense attorney I would recommend against accepting it unless you know for sure that you will never need any further medical treatment or that you will always be covered by medical insurance for that injury, or they offer a ton of money. In general, none of those will be true.
You can not be fired for suffering an on the job injury, but your employer does not have to create a special job for you.
