Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I am a massage therapist with a repetitive motion injury. Workcomp orthopedist said I need at least 6 months off of doing massage plus physical therapy. Since I can't do massage, I go to work with not much to do so I end up standing around most of the 8 hour day. Do I have to go to work if they have no work for me? Also, if this injury continues on with no resolve (which I have a feeling it will) can they fire me at some point since I can't do the job I was hired for? At which point would I need to consult with an attorney?

You need to hire an attorney now to send you to a doctor and a doctor who can certify you for disability if you can't work. Feel free to call me at 213-388-7070 for a free consultation.
