Medical Reports to Ins. co.

I am in TDP and the doctor I am seeing (the 2nd one ) is reporting to the Ins. co something different about my health condition. The first doctor used to do the same. His report states muscle strains and sprains in LS spine, an herniated disk and subjective pain complains, as a consequence of my fall. But What I really have is my sacrum tilted horizontally and a right hip upslip displacement. This is giving me a lot of problems. The two physical therapists the doctors sent me to had stated my condition very clearly regarding sacrum and hip on the reports but the doctors never mentioned it to the Ins. co. Shall I ask the actual physician why is he omitting the most important thing that is causing me problems when I walk or sit and will bring me problems in the future since the therapists are telling me it became chronic and I am a 61 years old female. What is the right approach to this I want the doctor to sent the real diagnosis.

Re: Medical Reports to Ins. co.

If you did not hire an attorney, chances are that you do not have medical control. This means that you are seeing the employer's doctor and his first obligation is to the insurance company, not you. This means that he is minimizing your injury so that he can release you as quickly as possible. You should sit with a workers' compensation attorney as soon as possible, before you are released, to discuss your options. Please feel free to contact me at 818.943.0462 for a free consultation.

You need to change your doctor and object to his findings. There are different ways to regain medical control and/or get out of the employers MPN (Medical Networks). Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
