Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Missing work due to Worker's Comp MD's Appt's

My husband's employer is trying to make him either use California AB109 for the time he missed for an appt for W/C injury or have an occurance or make up the time - is that legal?

Aren't W/C appt's covered
