Yes but your temporary benefits will be terminated. However, as long as you continue with necessary treatment then your attorney (if any) can still get a settlement for your permanent disabilities. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

YES. BUT; I very, VERY STRONGLY urge you to maintain a California mailing address.

Unless you've already confided in the adjuster you're leaving, then the cat's outta the bag.

When an Insurance Adjuster knows you've left the state, your 'future medical' value is zero.

You won't find a physician in another state who knows how to write a "Request For Authorization" with all the technicalities and ACOEM Guideline citations required to persuade an adjuster you'd win in court if she denied the treatment.

So she just keeps denying the treatment and you just pay cash or get no treatmen.

You're a sweet bargain for the insurance company when you leave California.

But if the adjuster THINKS you're still in California and every 6 weeks you visit a California doctor, then she knows MEDICAL BILLS WILL KEEP POURING IN if she doesnt come up with a big chunk of cash to 'cash out' your future medical rights.

Better still, HIRE A CERTIFIED SPECIALIST ATTORNEY, make crystal clear you need to close the case immediately, cash out your future medical rights and permanent disability while you're still here in California... THEN leave and get insurance out of state.
