Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

My options

I have a job that requires heavy lifting(75-150lbs.)and several months ago I ruptured my left biceps tendon at work. My doctor has released me for full duty on Dec. 7. I have used up all my PT and my arm still does not have the strength required to perform my duties at work. I am left handed so this is my usually stronger arm. I have serious doubts if my arm will ever be as strong again. Pain is moderate but not excessive. I have been in this field of work for 15 years but doubt if I will be able to continue. What are my options? Thank You.

Re: My options

You are an injured worker, thus you are entitled to WC benefits (unless of course you work for yourself and are not self insured). I strongly recommend that you file a WC application with help from either the Information and assistance office or a private attorney to preserve your claim. If you live in the Bay Area, I will gladly assist you with an application.
