Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I need to know if I can get paid for all the overtime hours I worked at my job, my boss got mad at me for no reason and then he fired me with no explanation? I have worked there for almost 5 years and never had a vacation. I worked 5 days a week from 10am until 8pm and only had a 30 min lunch. Also he payed me in cash, the security cameras did not worked and the emergency door in the back of the building was always locked, is there any way I can suit him at all?

Sort of...it's a Wage Claim through the Labor Board, an administrative law action more than a law suit.

check out www.dir.ca.gov and look for the Labor Law 'tab' or search for Wage Claim. Forms are right there for filing.

get all the proof and witnesses phones and addresses together as soon as you can, before everyone 'forgets'.
