Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Pain & Suffering Compensation

I was injured in two car accidents one month apart, both while doing my job. I required a cervical disectomy with a bone graft and plate attachment. Worker's Compensation has paid the cost of the surgery at a reduced rate. I am currently trying to settle with the insurance companies for pain and suffering. I have been informed by WC that if I receive any monetary settlement, that I must reimburse them for the cost of my hospitalization and treatments. Is this correct?

Re: Pain & Suffering Compensation

First off I am assuming that you are not working with an attorney on your claim which is a big mistake. Get an attorney!! Now what you are being told does not sound correct. I cannot give more information without first getting some more information from you. If you would like a free consultation give me a call at 818-427-6246.
