Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

plese help figure this out
Iam 27 years old and have been on workmans comp since 2003 the lawyer I have doesnt do anything for me she has gotten only 1 surgery authorized. I have been needing a surgery similar to knee replaicement as they cant do knee replacement because of my age . I had a appt with my laywer is a slob there were people charts azll over her floor the office was completly in shambles.she new nothing of my case she had to keep asking her paralegals. She put the blame on the doctors office and said that they didnt certain tests back but I have informed her that I have the test results. the doctors office informed me that they havesent her everything and she isnt telling the truth.The doctors office told me to look into getting a new lawyer because they said someone is dropping the ball. bottom line they want me to gather information from my doctors information she should be gathering.I have a lawyer that doesnt want to work since she told me this isnt a lottery and said she had a client that lost a eye and onlygot 10,000 because you dont get paid for pain and suffering .I have voicemails asking if I have collected doctor reports inst that their job?what can i do to retain new lawyer pleases help me with some ideas what to do thanks !
